On November 26th - Euroeyes implanted worldwide the first (commercial) Trifocale Lens - AT ELANA® - from Carl Zeiss. The new multifocal lens is a new implant to treat presbyopic patients. The lens is made of a new Hydrophobic material which is expected to give less PCO. Zeiss also developed a new optic which should improve intermedia and near Vision and have less side effects.
Euroeyes will together with Zeiss lead the introduction and development of this new innovative product.
